Dear Fellow CD Alumni

We all know the economy hasn’t been the best and some of us may have wanted to vacation in “Montego Bay”, or take the “Caribbean Queen”, or maybe it was a trip to “Santa Monica”.  But, “Living in America” has been a little difficult right now. 

“In The Summertime”, Saturday, June 19^th  “Lively Up Yourself” and “I’ll Take You There”.  It will be “96 Degrees In The Shade” and you know “It’s Hot Hot Hot”.  Now “Don’t Look Back” cause “It’s The American Way”, we are going to “Stir It Up” in this “Wild World”

“Now The Tide Is High”, but the “Moon Over Miami” will make the “American Woman” head to “Christmas Island” for “Boat Drinks”, “Grapefruit Juicy Fruit” and a “Cheeseburger in Paradise”.  Just because the girl has a right to “Changes in Latitudes and Changes in Attitudes” you guys will have to see how “A Pirate Looks At Forty”.

So put your “Fins” on and swim down thru “Key Largo” and join us in “Margaritaville”. We will be playing  Jimmy’s favorite song “Why Don’t We Get D…. and S……” !!!  Come and “Just Dance” even if you had a “Bad Romance”, maybe you’ll find “One Love” and then we can “Legalize It”. 

So “I Can See Clearly Now” there’s a great party planned for Saturday, June 19^th, 2010 at Cedars Grove Picnic Grounds off Rte 39.  “It’s 5 o’clock Somewhere” so wear your Key West best and don’t forget those flip flops and Panama Jack hats.  Remember Jimmy Buffett says we’re “Growing Older but not Up”. 

“Don’t Worry, Be Happy” that a group of us are planning CD’s All Alumni Margaritaville Party.  This is a chance to party with friends.  Great food, beer, wine and margaritas.  Mark your calendar ! !

We are looking for everyone that attended CD in the past 55 Years.  If you know who’s in charge of your class reunion contact me ASAP, and PLEASE forward this info to your friends.

There are many up front expenses, such as reserving the DJ, picnic grounds, printing posters, and making all the plans for a fantastic party.  We will be printing a Program that will be handed out to all that attend. 

We need your help to make this day the best ever.  This is a fundraiser for the Alumni Association.   We are in the process of creating a new memorial to honor all veterans who attended CD that gave their lives for our freedom and we also give away two $1,000 scholarships each year.  Plus many other endeavors.

Here's what we are proposing:  We would like to recognize your support of CD by creating ads in this program.  In the ad you can say hello to old friends, share a special memory or tell us what you're doing now.  CD classmates who own a business can advertise in this Program.   A price chart ranging from patrons to full page "ads" is listed below.
